Beach bedroom 8
There was a fold down desk in the old kitchen of our house when we moved in. It was painted bright red and
had seen better days aged nicely. Because I'm weird cool and spent the summer not getting paid trying to stay in budget, it seemed a logical choice for wall decor in the new beachy bedroom. So, I researched nautical signal flags and Paul and I decided on this one which stands for the letter H (house/home/haven, in our application) and Pilot on Board. Paul agreed to the whole "painting the old desk and hanging it on the wall" plan as long as he gets to be the pilot. Done deal! (Except for the fact that the red is bleeding through and right now it is more pink and red than white and red, sigh).
