Magic

I had the pleasure of taking my daughters and their friends (also sisters) through Hubbard Park's Silver Light's Festival in Meriden, CT last night.
The event is described as "over half million miniature lights in spectacular displays in trees, on the ponds and nestled in the natural habitat of this magnificent Park."
It's fun to hear the children identifying all the creatures.
All those lights, plus their reflection on the pond is really amazing
~ even to my old and tired eyes.
Driving through has been a tradition for my girls - for our friends, it was the first time.
What a joy it was to be seeing the lights through their eyes and hear it through their collective "oohs" and "aahhs".
I've been struggling with catching the magic of the season so far.  This night was such a gift!
I hope you all find some magic this season and wish you both quiet
and joyfully chaotic moments.
