Name this flower

Creative Every Day/Flickr Project 365 photo for 6/28/2010:
 
 Not sure what this flower is called.  I see it in many Connecticut gardens.
Anyone?
UPDATE: Thank you facebook friends!  It is a Yellow Primrose.

    beautiful flower. i have no flower sense but can stll smell. is the smell good? have a good day.
