Wrapped in love and prayers....

This well-loved, well-worn beauty is the prayer shawl made for me by Heather Eaton after my son, Nathan, died. Woven into the fringe are sweet, symbolic charms. This sentimental object continues to be a source of comfort to me and inspired me to make shawls for others in need of love and prayers. I am forever grateful for this deep and meaningful expression of God's love and presence in times of unfathomable sadness. I still reach for it -- in times of need, and times of joy.

How have others reached out with comfort to you in times of need?
